A master stylist who has trained intensively in many major cities, Dan is also the product of a large Italian family that taught him the value of compassion and kind-heartedness and nurtured his artistic creativity. He sees the beauty in everyone and uses that vision to bring each guest’s unique beauty to the surface.
Dan founded Daniel Louis in 1993, after nine years at the Mary Myers Studio in Johnson City. Driven by a profound love for his art, his clients and the team at his salon, Dan has devoted his career to providing upscale service with a warm, gracious touch.

Sean
Sean’s desire to become a stylist began early in life. He was born with a natural talent and acquired skills on his own. While studying cosmetology in high school, he took part in the in Skills USA competition and placed twice for New York State. He later earned an associate’s degree in business from SUNY Broome.
Sean started apprenticing at Daniel Louis during his senior year of high school while also working out of his home and developing his own clientele. A skilled perfectionist with a flair for making every client feel beautiful, he continues to build a loyal customer base and accept new guests.
Intelligent, outgoing and kind, Sean is a skilled listener and inspired artist with a deep instinct for color. Those traits, combined with years of intense training, make him an exciting young talent.

Brenda
Hairstyling is Brenda’s second career, but it was her first love. Even as a child, she delighted in all aspects of the beauty industry, with special attention to hair. Brenda spent six years teaching elementary school before she decided to pursue her primary passion full time. She started apprenticing at Daniel Louis while attending cosmetology school, working hard at every aspect of the business and catching on quickly.
With her bright personality and rich artistic vision, Brenda has become a favorite with her clients and the rest of our team. Her appointment schedule is filling up fast, but she still has space for more regular clients and looks forward to welcoming guests whom you refer to our salon.

Ashley
Ashley joined the team as our receptionist and salon manager in 2011, bringing a keen interest in hair care, strong business skills and a passion for helping people. Multitalented and eager to contribute wherever people need her, she’s equally talented at overseeing our inventory, consulting with clients and dressing hair.
Ashley has developed a thorough knowledge of the products we use at Daniel Louis and is well-versed in all aspects of hair care, including color application and expert finishing work.
